CultureCon 2025 Lit Up Brooklyn with Black Excellence!

Brooklyn was the place to be as CultureCon 2025 took over the Duggal Greenhouse at the Brooklyn Navy Yard on October 4th and 5th! The energy, the panels, and the purpose-filled conversations made it the ultimate homecoming for creatives.

This year’s theme, “Take Space: The New Frontier,” was all about empowerment — reminding us to claim our space and walk boldly in our purpose.

The star lineup had the crowd locked in! Taraji P. Henson dropped powerful gems on mental health and self-worth. Kerry Washington shared insight on storytelling and representation. Jennifer Hudson inspired the crowd with her journey to EGOT status, while Sheryl Lee Ralph spoke about legacy and divine confidence.

Stephen A. Smith and Cam Newton brought the energy with their raw, unapologetic conversation on authenticity and ambition. 2 Chainz delivered major business wisdom on ownership, and Morris ChestnutJesse Williams, and Michael Ealy gave perspective on longevity in Hollywood.

The weekend also featured a buzzing Creative Marketplace, live podcasts, and the Creative Careers Job Fair connecting talent to top companies. Every corner of CultureCon celebrated Black creativity, connection, and culture in motion.

CultureCon isn’t just a conference — it’s a movement. Brooklyn once again proved why it remains the heartbeat of the culture.
