Floyd Mayweather Sr. was not convicted when he was charged for punching Marsha Byrd in the face, but now the Woman is suing him. The incident allegedly occurred after the first Canelo-GGG fight last year.
According to TMZ, “In the lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports, Marsha Byrd claims she got into a verbal altercation with Mayweather Sr. on September 17, 2017 outside T-Mobile Arena in Vegas … which she says turned physical.”
Byrd claims that Floyd Sr. physically took her out of his car and continuously punched her with a closed fist which caused her serious injuries.
Mayweather Sr. was charged with assault back in January and was found to be innocent in June.
Byrd didn’t reveal exactly how much money she’s suing for but TMZ presumes it’s a large amount.
