Moneybagg Yo has finally blessed us with a new single and visual titled “Rocky Road”. The Memphis, TN rap god hasn’t released anything new since his highly successful album A Gangsta’s Pain, which dropped last October. This is perfect timing for fans that have been anticipating new music.
The visual for “Rocky Road” features Florida’s hometown hero Kodak Black, and is currently trending #11 on YouTube. The visual reflects the single’s lyrics speaking on the hardships of living the street life while your back is against the wall. During the song Moneybagg revealed in a bar, [Ari want another baby but I’m too busy chasing paper], that circulated on the blogs.
Moneybagg recently did an interview with Eddie Francis of Apple Music 1. As for what he said about working with Kodak on the new release:
“Anytime me and Kodak link up, there be chemistry, it be good. I wanted to come with a different tempo than “Lower Level”, the other joint we have. It took us probably like two weeks to do it. When we went in there and did it, it came out good. I’m excited about the track, I feel like it’s the warmup.”
