Rapper, Singer, and rising star Lakeyah is back with a new single amd visual “Real B*tch” feat. Gloss Up, out now via Quality Control Music/Motown Records. She has had a great year and has been booked and busy. She’s been thriving since the release of her recent EP No Pressure Pt. 1. Her new single proves that Lakeyah is not playing and that she is here to stay. She is going to be a force to be reckoned with in the industry. Her debut studio album is highly anticipated which her fans have been dying to get their hands on.
The “Real B*tch” visual shows that Lakeyah ain’t stopping anytime soon. She showcases her change in flows, raw delivery, and strong catchy hooks supported by her labelmate Gloss Up. DJ Khaled Album ‘God Did’
This past week DJ Khaled released his thirteenth album God Did. As you know by now, when DJ Khaled releases an album, he’s going to have collaborations with the biggest stars in the industry including Jay Z, Travis Scott, Drake, Kanye West, and many more. The album contains 18 songs which are collectively collaborations. He considers this to be his best album to date. According to multiple reports, God Did is aiming for the top spot on Billboard #200. DJ Khaled already has a top 10 hit Staying Alive featuring Drake and Lil Baby off the album, and the album is number one on the iTunes chart. If God Did debuts at #1, he could secure his 4th number one album to do so.
Quavo and Takeoff FT. Birdman – “Big Stunna”
Atlanta born rappers Quavo and Takeoff of the Migos have released their third single Big Stunna ft Birdman of their upcoming album as a duo, since former member Offset left the group. There has been a lot of drama all over social media surrounding what happened between the three of them. However that’s not stopping the duo from releasing new music and their upcoming album Unc & Phew. We already heard their first two singles Hotel Lobby and Us vs Them featuring Gucci Mane but now they’re showcasing versatility and giving us a taste of what’s to come from their new album. This is a big deal since it’s going to determine if they can survive as a duo or if being a trio is their only means to succeed.
JID Album ‘The Forever Story’
JID has released his third studio album The Forever Story. It has been two years in the making since his last album Spilligion. The album features collaborations with Lil Durk, Lil Wayne, Ari Lennox, and many more. The Atlanta native who is signed under J. Cole’s label Dreamville hasn’t been releasing as much as his fans would want him to. Nonetheless, this album shows that he’s ready to get back into the game. Additionally he’s proving to his fans and critics why he’s here to stay.
Lil Tjay – “Beat The Odds”
Lil Tjay has been MIA for the past few months since being involved in a shooting that left him critically injured. He was shot 7 times which nearly took his life away. Today, he has released his first single, “Beat The Odds”, since the shooting. “Beat The Odds” talked about him healing, being thankful to have a second chance at life, and getting back to where he left off. Earlier this week he posted on social media thanking his fans and family for the support and prayers. He also let the world know he would be releasing new music to get ready for his comeback. Does this mean a new Lil Tjay album is on the way? We truly hope so and look forward to it!
