DMX is truly missed by fans and the lives that he positively impacted all around the world.
The iconic rapper almost completed a full-length album and a documentary before his passing last Friday following a heart attack. His first posthumous single titled ‘Been to War’ is out today featuring Swizz Beatz and French Montana.
The new single is featured on the upcoming season 2 of EPIX’s crime drama series ‘Godfather of Harlem’ based on African American crime lord Bumpy Johnson after he returned home from prison 10 years later.
Just like Season 1, Swizz Beatz is also developing the soundtrack for the new season, so it’s an absolute blessing he worked with X on one of the songs, and possibly more. The power duo also released a single for season 1, ‘Just In Case’ featuring Rick Ross, alongside a visual which was also released.
